Picture this: you’re hosting friends for a casual wine night, and instead of hiding your bottles in a cabinet, your wall steals the show. That’s exactly what we did in our Tuscan Estates model home in Waxahachie — and you can too, with this eye-catching wine wall DIY for under $275. 🍷
Not only does it double as functional storage, it’s also an instant conversation piece that elevates your space with custom-home vibes (without the custom-home price tag).
✨ What You’ll Need:
- 12-Bottle Wall-Mounted Wine Racks – Set of 4
Price: ~$240 for 4 racks (Amazon Prime eligible) - Screws + drywall anchors (typically included)
- Level + measuring tape
- Power drill
- Optional: painter’s tape for layout planning
🛠 How to Install Your Wine Wall:
- Choose Your Wall Wisely
A feature wall in your dining area, hallway, or flex room works great — we used a green accent wall to make the black racks pop. - Layout & Measure
Use painter’s tape to mock out your placement. We went with a grid of 5 racks total in a 12 bottle layout, but you can start with however many you like. - Level Up
Seriously, don’t skip the level. Mark your drill holes with pencil to keep every row straight. - Anchor & Mount
Use anchors if you’re not hitting studs (aka every DIYer’s rite of passage). Drill in the racks using the provided screws. - Stock Your Wine Wall
Slide your bottles in — label out! It fits standard 750ml bottles and works best with uniform shapes for a clean, modern look.
